Project Details

The new American Airlines Flight Training Academy Central Utilities Plant was designed to replace an existing 40 year old central plant that services the utility needs for American Airlines’ Flight Training Academy Campus, the Training and Conference Center Campus and the Southern Reservations Office Building. Now complete and in full operation, the new central utilities plant has six – 1,000 ton chillers capable of producing over 14,000 gpm of chilled water and four – 2.5 megawatt generators with the equivalent electrical power generating capacity to supply power to approximately 7,600 homes.
